Ingredients

Scale

Salad

  • 1 pear of your choice
  • 1 small fennel (keep the fronds)
  • Pickled red onions (optional)

Dressing

  • 1 TBSP white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 TBSP olive oil
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Slice pear and fennel as thinly as you can (see notes)
  2. Add to a bowl
  3. Mix dressing ingredients
  4. Dress salad
  5. Top with fennel fronds and pickled onions
  6. Plate

Notes

a mandolin is very helpful, if you don’t have one, you may also dice both the pear and fennel in small cubes, that would look very cute as well
